Filmmakers Workshop

Supporting the work of independent filmmakers

Dear FMWS

I need a to replicate 1000 minus R dvd’s I want just bulk replication with 4 color printing on the disc delivered on a spindle.

DigitallyCD.com in LA has a great special for $525 but I’ve never dealt with them. I’ve dealt with Princeton disk but they are $780. Fifty-two cents a dvd is pretty decent if they are a good company. Has anyone dealt with DigitallyCD.com or know of a good inexpensive place. I have plenty of time to order.

Thanks,

Henry

Henry, I've worked with E-K Media in Sudbury, MA for years: http://www.e-kmedia.com/

They've done large replication and duplication orders for me, as well as dozens of small orders. I'm not sure if they'll beat your current price, per se, but I can guarantee that they'll take good care of you.

Call Tim Keary and tell him Thom Pollard sent you. (Seriously, I don't make a cut from the sale!)

All the best!

Thom

Hi Henry- I'm an active member of the D-Word & several D-Worders (including the founder, Doug Block- "51 Birch St."), recommend Scream DVD in NYC: www.screamdvd.com, 212-951-7171. Mark Ashkinos is the contact. (I never contacted them.) Another recommendation is Teatown Communications: 212-363-0722. Make sure there are no extra or hidden charges in that price- such as design fees, proofs, handling etc..

Good luck and keep us posted.

Rhonda,

thanks for sending along the info. I've found several places that seem reasonable even a place that does replication for 50 cents per disc for 1000.

Hi Henry,
When you have a moment, would you mind sharing the names and prices of a few of the places that you found? Thanks!
