Filmaka.com just posted their next contest! They're looking for
pitches for a web series about people and their cars. You submit a
detailed written synopsis of a film 3 to 5 minutes in length, with 4
or 5 more episode ideas intended to total around 30 minutes of
original webisodic content. Finalists receive $5000 each. General
Motors is sponsoring the contest and if they decide to produce final
pitches, they will fund the production. Filmaka.com will start
accepting submissions in the middle of next week and the contest
closes March 11. Details at: http://www.filmaka.com/gm/

About my films:
Working On A Very Powerful Documentary... "The Seeds of Tolerance." From F|X comes a beautifully pieced work of cinematography that juxtaposes the everlasting effects of cultural seclusion, ethnic intolerance, and racial discrimination on the lives of several small-town individuals. Cultura Ijile is an exploratory venture whose roots spawn from a socio-psychological research experiment and germinate into an epic story of angst, struggle, and forgiveness, digging deep into our society's most haunting issues. Please give us all your support as we embark on this extremely difficult journey... Comments and love welcomed as we come closer to our Summer Release. Keep in touch with our progress.
Books I'm reading:
The Failures of Intergration: How Race and Class are Undermining the American Dream
Films I love (or can't wait to see):
Blankman, Man On Fire, Scarface, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Traffic, Blow, Face Off, The God's Must Be Crazy, Miami Vice, Crash, Fight Club, A Beautiful Mind, anything Tarantino, The Departed = Martin Scorsese [ Gangs of New York | The Aviator ] The Genious behind Hitchcock...
