Please come to the WIFVNE's Garden Shorts Series tomorrow, 8/16, 8:30pm at The Growing Center in Somerville! My first film, An Inch Without Asphalt, will be making its premiere. The screening is free, and there's ice cream as well :)

The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Room Temperature, Shaking the Money Tree.
Films I love (or can't wait to see):
Any docs made by Ross McElwee, Al Maysles, Ricky Leacock, Errol Morris, Werner Herzog, and Michael Moore. Czech New Wave films (Forman, Chytilova, Menzel), Svankmajer and Trnka stop motion animation. Man with a Movie Camera, Bruce Conner's A Movie, Primary, In the Street, Extreme Private Eros, Chronicle of a Summer, Seventeen, Andy Warhol films, Stop Making Sense, 8 1/2, Rear Window, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, and Wes Anderson flicks.

Bela Tarr's Werckmeister Harmonies is next on the Netflix list.
Television --the papers say its the golden age- you agree (or you don't!) because you watch.....
Seinfeld reruns, and nothing else.
